At summer’s end, the Earth begins her slow exhale. The days soften, the gardens give their final offerings, and we feel the ancient invitation to gather what has ripened and carry it within. Returning from a pilgrimage to Southern France to honor Mary Magdalene and the Emerald Flame Activation led by Stellar Fairbairn, Jennifer Jarvis brings this sacred current into the turning of the season. Our Ren Fest booth glows in emerald green and vibrant orange: the deep green of Earth and the Emerald Flame, the warm orange of the sacral center, sensuality, creativity, and the awakening Divine Feminine. Among the colors, marigolds burn like little golden suns—flowers traditionally associated with “Mary’s Gold,” offering a beautiful thread to Magdalene, feminine wisdom, devotion, and remembrance. This is the medicine of the threshold: bare feet on the Earth, golden light on the skin, herbs beneath our fingers, and the quiet remembering of the wild, wise feminine within.
